Because cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance plans, patients must pay directly from their own means. Happily, treatment costs are within the reach of most working people today. Dr. McBride believes that cosmetic surgery is an investment in yourself, but it should be affordable, and you should select the simplest, least expensive treatment plan that meets your treatment goals.
Dr. McBride believes that success in cosmetic surgery depends upon technical surgical expertise, devotion to pre-operative education and the development of a realistic and appropriate treatment plan. There is no shortcut in proper surgical planning, and the patient and surgeon must be prepared to spend whatever time is required for each to understand and embrace the proposed treatment.
Every effort is made to individualize fees based on the specific nature and complexity of the surgery. Two patients both needing rhinoplasty (nose surgery) for example, may have very different anatomical problems which require different surgical approaches and fees. After a visit with Dr. McBride, a precise fee summary will be provided that will contain the exact surgical fee as well as other charges (e.g. anesthesia fee, etc.). We do not charge a separate facility fee.
We require a 20% deposit of the total surgery fee to reserve a surgery date. This amount is nonrefundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours from the surgery date. The remaining 80% is due one week prior to the surgery date.
