The presentation was "Fillers and Fat Transfer - The Future of Facial Cosmetic Surgery". Dr. McBride demonstrated the facial deflation changes that occur as a natural part of facial aging. The deflation, that occurs as a result of the natural loss of fat in our faces as we age, causes lines, wrinkles and hollow areas to develop. These lines, wrinkles and hollow areas make us look old and tired. By filling these lines and depressions with fillers or fat, the attractive energetic, happy, full contours of youth can be restored. |
